Join us and thousands across the Country who are walking or running in honor of our Fallen Heroes.
10AM Wheeler Park at Wood National Cementery(55th and National in Milwaukee, on the Clement Zablocki Medical Center grounds)
There will be a Missing Man Formation fly-over at 11:30 by 4 T-28 airplanes.
We will walk a mile followed by a short memorial service at the grave sites of our Fallen from the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. This will be followed by a BBQ...please consider bringing a dish to share, we will have everything else available for you: This includes coffee and rolls donated by the DryHootch, water supplied by Pat Moore of the Elks Club, and burgers and brats donated by the president of Machinery and Welding, Joe Campbell, BT-RO supporter for many years.
Last year we sold t-shirts. This year we will have beveled frosted glass ornaments that say "I Walk for our Fallen Heroes" for $10. You can put them on your Christmas tree, hang them in your car, put them on a window, or hang them from a small stand. They're quite lovely. We only purchased 150... so when they're gone, they're gone.
There is no registration fee but donations are always appreciated
