Being There Reaching Out

2014 Memorial Walk/Run

On July 26, 2014, my family will be taking up the challenge of hosting our third annual Gone but Not Forgotten Memorial Walk/Run. Gone but Not Forgotten, the Sgt. Eugene Uhl III Memorial foundation was created to honor my fallen brother. Sgt. Uhl was killed in Action, KIA, on 15 November 2003 while serving our country as a part of the 101st Airborne; Air Assault. As his family, we created a foundation to honor him in helping young students achieve their dreams of going to college.
Gone but Not Forgotten, Sgt. Eugene Uhl Memorial Run/Walk will attempt to raise funds for the direct purpose of awarding a well-deserved student with funds to move forward in their education. During our Memorial Run/Walk, our foundation is proud to present many baskets for Raffle and a dinner. As part of our fundraiser, we are asking sponsors to please donate items or cash for our raffle baskets. If you would be so kind to generously provide our foundation with a donation, I will personally provide public acknowledgment of your support.
Thank you for taking the time to read this letter. As one of my sponsors, I will personally let you know how we do. If you would like more information on the Gone but Not Forgotten Memorial Run/Walker, please visit our Face book page: Lived Hard Died Young. We currently have our application in with the Internal Revenue Service, IRS, to create a Non-Profit Organization where your donations may be tax deductible.
